Mastercam is pleased to announce the 2019 Masters of CAM Wildest Parts Competition. The contest is open to Mastercam users from around the world and accepting entries postmarked by June 28, 2019.
If you are a student or professional using Mastercam, this competition is a great opportunity to show off your creativity to win cash prizes and more. The challenge is simple. Create a bold, original item using Mastercam that shows off your design and machining skills.
New for 2019, at least one Masters of CAM story submission is required for each part entered. The competition was also expanded, adding a new division for professional Mastercam users to enter parts they created for the chance to win cash prizes and more.
The Wildest Parts Competition accepts entries in four divisions:
- Secondary – open to individual students at high school level of education.
- Postsecondary – open to individual students at college/university level of education.
- Teams – open to groups of students at any level of education; teams participating with SAE, FIRST Robotics, NASA HUNCH, NRL, and other organizations are encouraged to enter parts in this division.
- Professional (NEW FOR 2019!) – open to anyone with professional manufacturing experience; instructors are encouraged to enter parts in this division.
Teachers can enter the competition in the Professional division and should encourage students to enter at their educational level in both the individual and team categories.*
Entries must be postmarked by June 28, 2019 and sent to: Wildest Parts Competition, CNC Software, Inc., 671 Old Post Road, Tolland, CT 06084. An entry form must accompany each part entered in the competition.
